Camping

Camping is allowed and explicitly encouraged in the designated camping area. Regular personal tents are permitted; large festival tents are not. Campervans and motorhomes are not allowed access to the camping area. Access to the campsite is controlled.

Any visitor with a valid festival ticket may stay and camp in the camping area free of charge during all four festival days (Thu–Sun). This makes Gampel the largest free camping area in Switzerland.

Camping opening hours

The campsite opens on Thursday, 20 August 2026, at 8 a.m.

Visitors with an ALL DAYS CLASSIC, ALL DAYS PREMIUM ticket or a Wednesday day pass may already access the camping area from Wednesday, 19 August 2026, from 4 p.m.

Visitors who already purchased another ticket but wish to arrive on Wednesday can purchase an upgrade to a PREMIUM ticket on site for CHF 120.–.
