directly from niuway

Buy

niuway saves you having to lug your tent around and offers a sustainable tent rental service directly at Openair Gampel. You can choose between 2 or 4-person tents, the 6-person "Lotus Belle" cotton tent, camping chairs and air mattresses. You can either collect your pre-booked tent at the entrance and pitch it somewhere on the campsite or you can book a tent that is ready to move into (already pitched!) and arrive relaxed.

After the Openair, the equipment is washed and refurbished so that it can be rented by the next festival visitors. In this way, niuway makes an important contribution to making camping at festivals more sustainable.

Attention when buying tickets

The Open Air Gampel recommends buying tickets only at the official advance booking offices authorized by the organizer. Never buy a ticket that is offered before the official presale starts. The ticket dealers are not in possession of valid tickets at this time. There is a risk that you will never receive the tickets you have paid for. The following platforms are generally not official advance booking offices, but resellers or exchange platforms on which professional and private resellers engage in speculative trading with the purchase and sale of event tickets: Alltickets, Viagogo, Onlineticketsshop, Worldticketshop, Vienna Ticketoffice, Ticketbande, Ebay, Ricardo.

We strongly advise against purchasing tickets on these platforms.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to pay for transportation to the festival by public transport?

No, public transport by train and bus between Visp and the festival site and between Gampel station and the festival site is now included in the ticket price. Not included in the ticket price, however, is the night transportation by Postauto Valais between 00.00 and 06.00 hours. This unique integration is the result of a cooperation between Openair Gampel on the one hand and the public transport providers SBB Rail Away, RegionAlps, Postauto Valais and Ruffiner Reisen on the other. This also includes shuttle transport for Turtmann parking lot users, who pay for the shuttle via the parking fee.

I would like to upgrade my ticket to PREMIUM. How can I do this?

Yes, you can. You can easily order an Upgarde via Ticketcorner. Please see the ticket page.

For example, can I enter the festival site at 00:00 on Saturday with a 1-day pass?

With your Saturday Day Pass you can enter the festival grounds from Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 09:00 am.

How long can I stay on the campsite with a 1-day pass?

You are welcome to stay overnight on the campsite with a valid festival ticket. It does not matter which ticket category you have. The campsite is accessible from Thursday - Sunday for everyone with a valid ticket.

Where can I park my caravan / camper?

There is a Park & Ride parking lot at the airfield in Turtmann. You can park your caravan there for a fee.
Please note that there are no electricity and water connections at the airfield. There are only a few toilets on site.

The second option is to park your caravan at the Lamperji campsite in Gampel. You can find all the information under the following link: Lampertji 6.

Can my colleagues join me (Premium owner) on the same pitch at the campsite on Thursday with a normal ticket?

There is no cordoned-off PREMIUM area on the campsite. The people who already have access on Wednesday can choose a great spot and spend their first night in Gampel.
As it is forbidden to reserve pitches on Wednesday, we cannot guarantee that your colleagues will find a pitch next to you on Thursday.

Are there any free campsites in the region?

You are welcome to contact the following campsites to see if they still have a free pitch for you.

Camping Mühleye Visp

Camping Santa Monica Raron

Camping Brigerbad

Will I already have access to the campsite on Wednesday, 13.08.2025?

All PREMIUM and Early Bird plus day pass holders are allowed on the campsite from 16:00 on Wednesday, 14.08.2025. You can pitch your tent wherever you want.

From what age do I have to buy a ticket for my child?

From the 12th birthday, the child must have a valid festival pass.
Please note, however, that a music festival is not for small children. You can pick up hearing protection for your child at the information stand.
