The festival grounds are easily accessible by public transport.

Arrival via Lötschberg – VISP – GAMPEL-STEG

You’ll receive a 20% RailAway discount on your public transport journey to Visp. Transport with the regional train (RegionAlps) from VISP to GAMPEL-STEG is included and therefore free of charge with a valid OAG ticket or wristband, on all festival days from Wednesday to Sunday, running around the clock. At GAMPEL-STEG station, a free shuttle bus will take you directly to the festival grounds.


Arrival from Western Switzerland

The destination station is GAMPEL-STEG. You’ll receive a 20% RailAway discount on your public transport journey.
With a valid OAG ticket or wristband, a free shuttle bus will take you from GAMPEL-STEG station directly to the festival grounds.


Arrival on Wednesday

On Wednesday evening, the shuttle bus will run only from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM for our guests (from Gampel station and the Park & Ride parking area in Turtmann to the festival site).
Starting Thursday, the shuttle runs to and from the festival site in sync with train arrivals and departures.

By post bus

Departure to German-speaking Switzerland

Transport with the regional train (RegionAlps) from GAMPEL-STEG station to VISP is included and free of charge with a valid OAG ticket or wristband on all festival days from Wednesday to Sunday.
 

Departure to Western Switzerland

Transport with the regional train (RegionAlps) from GAMPEL-STEG station to SIDERS (including special night trains between 1:00 AM and 4:30 AM) is included and free of charge with a valid OAG ticket or wristband on all festival days from Wednesday to Sunday.
 

Important!

There is no direct bus connection between the festival site and Visp – not even at night.
You must always take the 24/7 shuttle from the festival site to Gampel-Steg station, and from there take the regional train in the direction of Visp/Brig or Siders. Trains run around the clock during the festival.

Transport with the special RegionAlps night trains from GAMPEL-STEG station to BRIG or SIDERS (with stops at all Regio stations: Brig, Visp, Raron, Gampel-Steg, Turtmann, Leuk, Salgesch, Sierre) is included and therefore free of charge with a valid OAG ticket or wristband between 1:00 AM and 4:30 AM, on all festival days from Thursday to Sunday.

All Regiobus connections (RegionAlps timetable) between Visp Bahnhof Süd and Gampel Station Luftseilbahn Gampel-Jeizinen are also free of charge.

Free Swimming Pool shuttle: The ride from Gampel Station Luftseilbahn Gampel-Jeizinen to the indoor pool in Steg or the outdoor pool in Visp is free of charge with a valid wristband.

Lötschental shuttle: From 4:30 AM, a free shuttle runs from the festival terminal to Lötschental (Goppenstein, Ferden, Kippel, Wiler, Blatten (village).

By car

West (destination: Turtmann)

East (destination: Turtmann)

The final parking destination is in Turtmann. Parking is subject to a fee. Signage is in place.
A free shuttle will take you from the parking area to the festival site in just a few minutes.

The parking area opens on Wednesday at 4:00 PM. 

Parking lots

Parking at Turtmann Airfield is subject to a fee. Reservations are not required and will not be accepted.

4 days (entry on Thursday): CHF 80.–
3 days (entry on Friday): CHF 60.–
2 days (entry on Saturday): CHF 40.–
1 day (entry on Sunday): CHF 30.–

With a multi-day parking ticket, unlimited entry and exit is permitted.


Day Parking Fees

Please inform the parking staff at the cash desk if you are parking for only one day.

Important: The full parking fee must be paid upon entry.If you leave the parking lot before 12:00 PM the following day, a refund will be issued at the P&R exit booth, reducing the total to CHF 30.–. Re-entry is not permitted.


Shuttle Bus

A shuttle bus runs from the Turtmann parking area to the festival site during the following times:

  • Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Thursday 8:00 AM to Sunday 10:00 PM

Campervan

Campervans have a designated paid parking area at Turtmann Airfield.Reservations are not required and will not be accepted.

ToiToi toilets are available at the airfield. There are no sanitary facilities or electricity on site.Setting up additional tents next to your campervan is not allowed.

  • Arrivals on Wednesday pay an additional CHF 5.– on top of the 4-day fee
  • 4 days (entry on Thursday): CHF 90.–
  • 3 days (entry on Friday):      CHF 70.–
  • 2 days (entry on Saturday):  CHF 50.–
  • 1 day (entry on Sunday):      CHF 40.–

Carpooling

Get organized in your area and travel to 'Gampel' in a carpool.

For travelers from Eastern Switzerland from the Winterthur and Zurich area, there is the possibility to travel by car: Gampel-Taxi-XXL.
Outward journey on Thursday morning, return on Sunday after the last concert.
