How long does the festival last now?
The festival starts on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 from 4 p.m. and lasts until Sunday, August 23, 2026, 12 a.m.
On Wednesday, the party zone opens at 7 pm. There will be no bands on Sunday, but you can party non-stop from Saturday to Sunday. The party zone closes at 12 noon.
Are these all bands?
No, of course not. We are presenting a first tape package and still have some nice surprises in store for us.
When will the day allocation take place, i.e. which band will play on which day?
And the Early Bird tickets will no longer be available until February 2026.
Why are there no more bands on Sunday?
Because it almost makes no sense. Most Gampel fans are so exhausted after 4 days of partying that they just want to go home on Sunday morning. We are taking this into account: you can now dance all night long. From Saturday non-stop into Sunday until 12 am. And then it's time to chill out and go home.
When do you recommend traveling?
The "All Days" ticket gives you access to the campsite from 4 pm on Wednesday. You can choose your spot freely and settle in comfortably. The party starts at 7 pm in the party zone.
Yes, what's going on now? Gampel or Turtmann?
Nothing is fixed yet. We will inform you as soon as there is anything to report. For all those unfamiliar with the area: Gampel and Turtmann are neighboring villages and are only separated by the Rhone. And of course, the name Openair Gampel will remain. One way or another.
